About the project
The world is running fast and communicating today as well as projects' complexity is not an easy job at all.
To improve this skill in both effectiveness and efficiency, a case-study such as Donnie Darko has been chosen. After a deep analysis of the latter, the aim of the project was to represent its complex plot by two interesting specific methodologies: Shortology and Graphic literature.
Developed by graphic designer Matteo Civaschi, Shortology is a funny yet brief graphic representation obtained by the use of few icons.

As stated by the creator of this specific comunicative language, Francesco Franchi,
Graphic literature's goal is to produce synoptic maps that allow the relationships between the elements of literary narrative to be seen, and specifically, to show complex relationships in a more easily understood way using linear forms.
