These 2 Nespresso Vertuo Next coffee machines Leach and I have customised for Happy Hearts Indonesia will be auctioned for charity in London. The proceeds go towards rebuilding schools across Indonesia and helping children get a better education.

– The Ebbs & Flows in Life –

For us, life starts with a good cup of coffee, and we thought, what is something we'd like to see every morning?

On the exterior, we drew a series of topographic maps in a warm and cool palette, layered with accompanying gentle reminders: "inhale, exhale" and "reclaim, reset" respectively. The artwork acts as a visual reminder of the journey of life, with each contour line and layer representing our highs and lows. Sometimes everything seems to be going well, other times life throws you a series of twists and turns.

Regardless, we don't want to label anything as "good" or "bad" too quickly. Everyone's landscape or map is different and unique. In the end, trust that with every peak and valley, triumph and struggle, everything will always fall into place. And that's the beautiful mess called life.

At the metallic locking lever area, we also engraved "do less, experience more" on one, and "feel blessed, love more" on the other. Overall, we hope that the artwork visually captures the richness of one's life journey and engages the user to explore and reflect - accompanied by a cup of aromatic coffee, of course!
