Web Portal Visual/UI Design

Pharmaceutical Web Portal
This application was developed for doctors and medical administrators to determine if patients were eligible for discounts on perscription drugs, and to keep a record of use histories.  I was asked to give the portal a more appealing and consistent design than the previous one, and to help improve on the user flow.   Below are some selected screens to give you a sense of the final product.
The landing page for this application needed to advertise the portal's ease of use and helpfulness to visitors, while being welcoming to repeat users.
The sign-up form customizes itself to different types of users.
Red icons highlight accounts in need of attention. Information is provided when hovering over these icons, so the user can remain on the same screen while gathering necessary details.
Type-ahead functionality allows the user to zero in on information quickly and easily.
Patient information pages track use histories of specific drugs, including insurance information.
Patients can be enrolled for specified medications through the system.
The system contains a mail system to keep pertinent interactions in one place, and easy to access.
